Will it slow my site down?
The script is ~5 KB gzipped, async, and self-contained — one HTTP request that's cached at the CDN edge. No second round-trip.
What about WordPress / Shopify / Next.js?
Any HTML page works — just paste one <script> tag before </body>. We don't need a plugin.
What cookies does it cover?
Strictly-necessary, functional, analytics and marketing — all four DPDP-relevant categories. You declare what your site sets; we render the consent UI.
Can I host the script myself?
Yes. The embed response is plain JS with the config inlined and no callbacks home, so you can proxy or mirror it on any CDN / domain.
What about Section 6 (withdraw consent)?
The banner can be re-opened any time from a preference link. Consent state is stored in localStorage and emitted as a `checkdpdp:consent` event for your analytics.
